Automation in the Factory

To continue manufacturing creatively and without undue strain, we are actively advancing the automation of our facilities. For example, the "Automatic Stacking Machine" stacks packaged products automatically, eliminating the need to lift heavy items at high heights. The "Auto Pallet Rack" prepares raw materials automatically during the night, minimizing the effort required on the day of shipment. We also utilize the "Automatic Labeling Machine," which automatically applies product labels when cans are placed on the conveyor. Jobs that vary in workload based on skill level, jobs with significant physical strain, and jobs that require overtime to keep up are being automated as much as possible. We will continue to develop systems that allow for the demonstration of intellect in pursuit of achieving the SDGs.

Diverse Work Arrangements

At SANYU REC, we have implemented various work arrangements, such as "staggered work hours" and "remote work policies," to ensure that every employee can enjoy rich personal time. For example, employees can shift their work hours to coincide with dropping off and picking up their children, allowing ample time for parenting, community activities, hobbies, and self-development. These flexible work arrangements enhance personal satisfaction, which in turn improves motivation and the quality of work.
